Booking an Appointment

All patients are seen by appointment only. Please call into the surgery during opening hours or call the surgery number.

Please book a seperate appointment for each person that needs to be seen.

We aim to accommodate all sick children under the age of 5 needing same day clinical assessment.

We politely remind you that a NHS GP appointment has an allocation of 10 mins. We ask you to bear this in mind as the doctor will endeavour to cover as much as possible in this time. However if there is insufficient time we may ask that you book another appointment to discuss the problem in satisfactory manner.

We have started allocating some appointments that can be booked via the internet. Please see the reception staff for details on how to register for this service.

Practices are working in partnership to provide additional GP appointments between 6.30pm – 8pm during the week and also over the weekend, If you need access to an evening or weekend non-urgent appointment, please call and speak to the receptionist at your registered practice during normal opening hours.

Your appointment may be with another practice in the area and may not be at your registered practice.

If unable to attend, please CANCEL your appointment

Home Visits

In line with national standards, home visits are available for those who are house bound, terminally ill or physically unable
If you think you need a home visit please phone the reception preferable before 10am (if possible). Our receptionists are trained to take information from you to help assess the urgency of the visit.
A doctor may ring you back to discuss the problem and assess if the home visit is appropriate
Should a home visit be required when the surgery is closed you must ring 111 for advice.

Non English Speakers

We ask that Non English speakers bring a friend or advocate to help interpret during the appointment.
If this is not possible there are limited provision of booking an interpreter through our reception staff.
In emergency situations telephone interpreting may be used.
The interpreting service is not run by the surgery and so we may not be able to honour your request at short notice or due to factors that are beyond our control.
Some of our Doctors and support staff may be able to speak Urdu or Pujabi but this may not always be available depending on the doctor and support staff available that particular day.
